This Mamalila winter coat is one of our favorites because it is a 3-in-1 coat: a nice winter coat, a maternity coat, and a babywearing coat. Thanks to handy inserts, you can easily switch between the variants and you have a coat that lasts a long time. Because even if you are no longer pregnant or your child has become too big to carry, you still have a beautiful and high-quality winter coat for yourself!
The winter coat is made of boiled wool, which provides natural climate control and is also dirt and water repellent. The wool feels wonderfully soft. Because the wool is supplemented with a windproof lining, the coat is a godsend in all weather conditions. The coat also has a hood and this can be rolled up so that it does not get in the way of your child when you carry him or her on your back.
What we find an absolute plus about this coat is that it is more comfortable than a cover that you attach to your child's carrier. Such a cover does not offer protection against the cold for yourself. Because with a cover you wear your own coat, which no longer closes because of the carrier. As a result, you always have a bare neck in cold weather. With the Mamalila carrier coat, on the other hand, you stay nice and warm yourself!
